| Information technology course in middle school as a formal discipline has 10 years of time, with the development of information society and course, the teaching goal, teaching content, and teaching form of information technology course has changed a lot. The development of information education in China also put forward higher requirements in the teaching goal of information technology course. We want to cultivate the students’ basic thinking, the correct ethics, and the corresponding information processing ability in the course of information technology, gradually improve the students’ information literacy. The connotation of information technology course is more and more abundant, the status is also more and more important. It is an urgent need for the junior middle school information technology teachers to solve an issue how to efficiently complete the information technology course teaching, to achieve the information technology teaching goal.The theme-based instruction of information technology teaching is a kind of very good teaching mode giving priority to students. It can not only let students master the information to calculate the corresponding knowledge skills and build the connection between them, but also let students form the correct morality and improve the corresponding information literacy in the theme-based learning situation. These effects are realized through a series of activities, such as creating a theme situation, decorating a theme task, evaluating theme works, etc. So it is necessary and feasible to carry out the practice research of information technology, therefore-to carry out the research on teaching practice of theme-based instruction of information technology in junior middle school.This paper first analyses the present research situation at home and abroad and the theoretical basis of theme-based instruction by using the "literature research". It also defines the concept on the theme-based instruction of information technology in junior middle school. The definition is the following content: in the junior middle school information technology teaching process, in order to promote the development of student as the ultimate goal, according to the characteristics of junior middle school technology course, differentiating the teaching material content into different theme units, corresponding to the subject situation, carrying out the real task, through diverse learning activities and rich learning resources support, stimulating students interest in learning, let the students base on the “theme†of the study, continuous formation and development of their own cognitive structure on the theme of information technology knowledge and skills to achieve real mastery, to apply their knowledge to improve students’ information literacy.According to the characteristics of junior middle school information technology course, this paper summarizes the specific cases in junior middle school information technology theme-based teaching design of general process. It also explains the important factors, which mainly include: theme teaching goal, theme design, theme resources, theme teaching process and theme evaluation.Finally, by using the method of experimental study, the teaching effectiveness of thematic teaching in the information technology course in junior middle school is verified. The experience and existing problems of the experimental process are summarized. Experiments proved the teaching effectiveness of the following. It helps to improve the interest in learning, to improve the students’ learning autonomy through the transformation of students’ learning attitude of information technology. It is helpful for students to explore, develop students’ multiple intelligence, and improve the students’ ability of information processing. It can effectively improve the students’ information literacy, be helpful for students to improve test scores of the information technology. |
