Our national curriculum criterion points out that the "high school physics is a basiccourse in the field of ordinary high school science learning, bridging physics or sciencecourses in the nine-year compulsory education, and the students’ scientific quality can beimproved consequently." The bridging problem between junior middle school and highschool is the key point for the new high middle school student. Every physics teacher shouldpay attention to the reality of how to make them adapt to the new school life as soon aspossible and do a good job. But for these students, there are so many differences, especiallythe physics study, such as the teaching material content, teaching method and learningmethod. All these make the students hardly adapt to the new course study immediately.Therefore, it has an important practical significance to probe into the cause of the highschool physics teaching in span and counter measure. This thesis aims to study the currentproblems existing in the bridging progress of middle school physics teaching, such asstudents’ low interest and enthusiasm in learning, inappropriate methods to learn,disabilityin using mathematical tools, which lead to hysteresis phenomenon in physics learning afterbeing a senior high student. It dose some questionnaires and interviews on learningconditions and the bridging of high school physics teaching of some junior one middleschool students in one school; It analysis the reason of difficulties in teaching bridging andfigure out the appropriate improvement measures. The article is divided into four parts. Thefirst part gives the reasons why the problem is put forward. The current high school physicsteaching problem, the research status of the method and the purpose of this research, and thecontent of the teaching material for junior and high middle schools are analyzed in detail. Inthe second part the actual situation and the reasons are revealed by surveying the senior highschool freshman, the physics teachers in junior or high middle school. In the third part, theteaching strategies are studied. And all the methods are based on the realities which areobtained by individual interview with the students. These ideas will be useful for promotingthe high school physics bridging teaching effects. And the reference basis are provided toimprove physics learning and teaching. The fourth part is the conclusion, describes the deficiencies and what should be improved in the future.
