The Study On The Capacity Of Carrying On Industrial Transfer Of Wanjiang Urban Area

After the1990s, the fourth international industrial transfer swept eastern coastal area of China where the industries of developed countries transferred to. This allows the rapid economic growth and unprecedented industrial development in the area. But with the further development of the industry, the supply of production factors such as land, labor and etc has become tighter, and the environment and resource problems have gradually highlighted, and production costs have been increasing, which causes a bottleneck to the industrial continued development and upgrading. These all force coastal area to re-transfer the industry gradually to the Midwest China where there are abundant resources and low-cost labor. Wanjiang urban area, as the frontier of east development of the Midwest China, has possessed the foundational conditions to carry on the eastern industrial transfer. So it should catch the opportunity of eastern industrial transfer, on which exploring the way to carry, to achieve the upgrading of industrial structure and the economic development.Against this background, the paper establishes Wanjiang urban area as the research subject and the capacity of carrying on industrial transfer as the research object, and determines the definition of the capacity of carrying on industrial transfer in detail, then sets up the evaluation index system of the capacity of carrying on industrial transfer. Lastly, I conduct an empirical study combining with industrial status of Wanjiang urban area, which will provide the basis for carrying on industrial transfer scientifically.Chapter1briefly describes the background and significance of this study, and reviews the relevant theories and research focus. Then it establishes the research methods and structural framework, and points out the possible innovation and shortcomings.Based on the scholars’ research results, Chapter2explains the concept of the capacity of carrying on industrial transfer, and analyzes the motivation of industrial transfer. Then it takes a brief description on the overview of Wanjiang urban area and the status of carrying on industrial transfer. Chapter3designs the evaluation index system of the capacity of carrying on industrial transfer of Wanjiang urban area. Under the guidance of the principle of setting up the index system, it establishes the index system frame and selects the appropriate statistical indicators, which have been detailed analyzed, and then the evaluation index system is constructed.Chapter4firstly sketches the theories of grey correlation analysis method, entropy method, principal component analysis method and the combination method, and then obtains the scores and rank of the capacity of carrying on industrial transfer of the cities in Wanjiang urban area based on the results of basic measurement. Lastly, the evaluation results are inspected and analyzed.Chapter5points out the problems on the process of carrying on industrial transfer of Wanjiang urban area, and puts forward some corresponding countermeasures to enhance the capacity of carrying on industrial transfer.
