| With a new round of basic education curriculum reform being carried out in all parts ofthe country, people explore a variety of teaching methods and teaching modes, injecting freshenergy to the traditional classroom. The most commonly used and oldest teaching method oflecturing in the past has received the unprecedented criticism and negation, encounteringunprecedented survival crisis. But we can’t deny the fact that today it is still the basic methodof the high school history teaching, playing an indispensable role. So there is an urgent needto strengthen the research on the traditional teaching method, continuous improvement andoptimization of lecture method in the application of high school history teaching.This paper adopts literature research, questionnaire survey method, observation researchmethod and so on to study the use of the traditional teaching method of lecturing in highschool history classroom. It’ s expected to optimize the using strategies of the traditionalteaching method in high school history classroom through the analysis of the present situationin high school history teaching under the guidance of related scientific theories. In addition tothe introduction and conclusion, this paper consists of three chapters.Chapter one is about a brief introduction to traditional teaching method of lecturing,including the concept, classification, advantages and disadvantages.Chapter two refers to the investigation and analysis of the present situation in highschool history teaching. It includes the high school history questionnaire from teachers andstudents.Among them, the content of the survey for teachers involves the frequency of traditionallecture method in use, the design of the new lesson, the integration of teaching content,teaching time arrangement, and the effect of the traditional lecture method and so on. And theinvestigation for students involves the interest in history learning, initiative of studentlearning, classroom participation, learning evaluation and other aspects. The author attemptsto find existing problems in the use of the traditional teaching method in the current historyclassroom by analyzing the results of the investigation and data to provide evidence andsupport for optimizing the traditional teaching method in history classroom.Chapter three involves the optimization of the using strategies of the traditional teaching method in high school history classroom.It mainly discusses six aspects, including updating education concept and enrichingbackground knowledge; exercising the classroom language and improving the expressioneffect; paying attention to the art of guiding class and carefully guiding; creating historysituation to inspire revulsive; analyzing the comprehension of the students, the teaching goal,and scientific design of teaching content; and the last, combining other teaching methodsand foster strengths and circumvent weaknesses to optimize the teaching effect. |
