| Under the new curriculum reform, more and more new teaching methods and modes appear therewith many related study ways, which greatly enrich the classroom teaching. Meanwhile, the traditional lecture method, which is widely used in the past,is criticized and negated, putting it at a risk of extinction. As a matter of fact, as a basic and essential teaching method, it can not be replaced by other methods,especially to the poor remote western areas and ethnic minority areas. Therefore, the study of lecture method has a theoretical and practical significance.This essay aims to research lecture method by adopting methods of documentary research method, classroom observation and questionnaire. Based on relevant theories,my observations and surveys among history teachers and students of two classes in grade two of Zhuoni County, this essay mainly analyses the problems of the lecture method and puts forward corresponding strategies with these problems. Apart from the introduction and conclusion, this essay is divided into four parts:Part One: concept of lecture method and theoretical basis;Part Two: existent rationality of lecture method and some misapprehensive analysis;Part There: actual application of lecture method in a high school in Zhuoni County;Part Four: strategies to optimize of lecture method in a high school in Zhuoni County.Through research, the author found that history teachers in the school don’t really understand the new curriculum idea and Normal Senior English Curriculum.Problems still exist in leading-in, application of lecture method and multimedia,choice of teaching content and time and so on. Students have troubles in learning attitudes, motivation, thinking ability, etc. Based on these problems, this essay puts forward some suggestions about applying the lecture method in history teaching,mainly from preparations before lectures, problems needed to be noticed and historyteachers’ abilities, which will be of theoretical and practical significance to the general teachers. |
