Abstract:The objeetive of this study was to understand the differences in grade, Aris,and several other aspects on the Parenting Style,loneliness, Self-disclosure in Vocational technical school students.In this study,438Vocational technical students as subjects condueted by question naire.The results were as follows:1The scores of self-disclosure of students greatly differentiate in aspects like origin of each student, romantic relationship and students from only-child family and non-only child family with scores of students from urban areas higher than those from rural areas, students been in a romantic relationship higher than those never been in a relationship, students from only-child family higher than non-only child family. As to the grade, the score of the second-year students is much higher than that of the first-year students.2. Parental rearing pattern significantly differentiate in aspects like the gender of their child, whether the students are the only-child in the family and the origin of students with boy students scoring higher than girl students in terms of parental over-protection, strict harshness, or parental denial, students from only-child family higher than non-only child family in terms of male-parent’s over-protection and female-parent’s emotional warmth, students from urban areas higher than those from rural areas in terms of female-parent’s emotional warmth and over-protection.3. The loneliness of students has great difference in grades as the score of the first-year students is much higher than that of the second year students. In accordance with the analysis of the overall condition of loneliness in vocational college students, it reveals that students feel loneliness to a certain degree and students who score higher self-disclose have lower degree of loneliness.4. In parental rearing pattern, there exists a strong negative correlation between parental emotional warmth and loneliness and a positive correlation between parental strict harshness, denial and loneliness.5. There is a positive correlation between parental rearing pattern and self-disclosure with different content of disclosure and objects. For example, reared under the negative parental rearing pattern, children are more likely to disclose their privacy to their counterparts such as finance(debt, assets,etc.),personality(negative mood or events) and body conditions(sex and appearances).While, under the positive parental rearing pattern, children tend to disclose comprehensive content to their parents like hobbies or study.6. It is shown that in each dimension there is a negative correlation between self-disclosure and loneliness.7.In the regression analysis of loneliness regarding to parental rearing pattern and self-disclosure, motherly emotional warmth, hobbies or friends have negative prediction on loneliness while fatherly denial has positive prediction on prediction.8. By means of analysis of mesomeric effect, it can be found that fatherly denial and motherly emotional warmth have indirect effects on loneliness through the degree of self-disclosure.
