With the arrival of the new round elementary education curriculum reform in our country of the recent years, political course curriculum reform of high school is also ushering into a rapid development. All kinds of new educational ideas, theories, concepts, teaching modes, methods and techniques have flocked into the classroom of the high school political course. Those transformations, to some extent, have solved some problems existed in the past, such as the outmoded educational concept, the single teaching mode and the backward technology. New curriculum reform has been conducted for over ten years. However, when we stopped to observe and think about our education and teaching situation, we would be startled to find that some obstacles are still hindering the development of the high school political course, such as the low efficiency, weak attraction and the poor moral education. The class full of vitality and harmony between teachers and students we are looking forward to for a long time is still a dream to realize. The inadequacy and distance above thus encourage the education workers for in-depth thinking and research, which pushes the reform of the high school political course to a more advanced stage.As we all know, class is the base of education and teaching reform. To reach the goal of the new curriculum reform, the key still lies in the classroom as a starting point and the foothold. Then, under the background of new curriculum reform, what the high school political course should be like with special culture construction? Proceeding from the perspective of classroom culture, this paper explains the connotation and characteristics of the high school political course’s classroom culture, revealing the "frigid" classroom culture,"withered" subject culture, distorted discipline culture and the poor spiritual problems in the current high school political course. With the profound reflection on the culture inadequacy above, a new type of classroom culture is put forward as the value orientation of the new curriculum reform of high school political course class culture:"to grow up happily, to think, to reason, and to return to life". Lastly a specific analysis of the construction strategy is explained. To reconstruct the culture of high school political course’s classroom culture, we must build the classroom culture with vitality, harmony and discipline. All in all, we must cultivate an enduring spirit of classroom culture by building a classroom atmosphere with democracy, equality, freedom, harmony, ease and joy, making the high school political course not only a place to spread knowledge, but also to offer humanistic care and human nature cultivation.
