Faculty member of the University is an important component, first appeared in the Middle Ages, and as a carrier of knowledge in the active stage of history of medieval Europe. Teachers of Medieval university are the product of Urban renaissance in Western Europe and cultural renaissance.With the eleventh century urban development and academic revival in Europe, a large number of translators and scholars engaged in teaching activities, their profound knowledge and outstanding reputation attracted a large number of followers, and they are the early medieval university teachers. Teachers and students formed a guild, and the university appeared. To safeguard their own interests, teachers of medieval university explanded the game with the church and secular monarchy, and obtained a number of privileges. These privileges not only safeguard the interests of teachers, but also promoted the development of the university. In medieval university teaching activities, teachers also played an important role, they were the leader in teaching activities, and beared the primary task of teaching.With the development of the medieval university, the group of university teachers were growing, their social status were rising. Qualifications of the teachers was gradually rigorous, university teachers should not only have a profound knowledge, but also have some teaching ability and good moral character. At this point the treatment of teachers increased, the source of teachers income tended fixed. Emergence and development of the medieval university teachers not only affected the growth of the medieval university, but also affected the entire Middle Ages.In this paper, the medieval university teachers is the study. The paper focus on five areas, they comprise teachers’emergence, privileges and responsibilities teaching, management and the impact. The thesis writing will be able to contribute to the study of medieval university teachers, and rich the historical data of medieval universities.
