Study On Organization Powder Of Medieval Universities

It is a new researching perspective to analyze the organization of Medieval University at the angle of organizational function and social power. This paper not only macroscopically concerns how university develops under the background of Medieval Times based on Marx's historical materialism, but also makes a concrete analysis of early universities' structures and authoritative sources from different aspects. With the hypothesis that controlling authority is a fundamental way for social organizations to exist on, this paper would make the social source of universities' authority as logical start of historical analysis and value judgment. The study comprises six parts as the following:In the first place, description of medieval universities' historical background, and analyse the inevitable development of their organizational authority.Marx's historical materialism has a important view that both society and history are successive developing processes, and never has a time could be an exception. All the social organizations must be emerged with their profound historical prerequisite and concrete social environment. To make a full understanding of universities' real condition, before exploring its organized features, it's necessary for us to know the historical background and social foundation on which universities are born.Secondly, generalizing universities' developing processes and probing the sources of social authorityLogical start of this part:the necessity of systematization of social relationship forms social tissues and some internal life goals of human being make the necessity of systematization. History is the product of ceaseless driving force, and this driving force makes a great variety of authoritative networks, which are so widespread and so deep. These networks are more effective than systematization for relationship, however, its organized authority, develops from the different social networks.Thirdly, to discuss multi-features of medieval universities, and to explore what are the historical factors which result in diversity.The basic hypothesis of this part:It is inevitable for universities to be born and to gain their authority, but the disparity of their external forms and the channels they get social authority should be owed to the impact of accidental factors. Because of the disparity of economy, politics and culture of different areas in Europe, multi-features on administrative structure and academic study of university become apparent.Fourth, formulation of external blocks which Medieval Universities has suffered after its consummate construction, and summarization of universities' struggle tactics and the results they had gained.Context of this part:when a new organization emerges in the society which develops in succession, it must be rejected by the old ones.
