Since the70s, China began to implement the family planning policy, and in1982will be as one of our basic state policies of family planning. So far, the familyplanning policy has been more than30years. After implementing the family planningpolicy of the first generation of only children now grow up, one after another into thebaby age, some parents, become a "80after" parents. The "80after" parents areaccompanied by reform and opening-up and affected by the "one-child policy" is deepgeneration, is also the first beneficiaries of national implementation of nine-yearcompulsory education. Due to the growing environment and their own educationexperience are the particularity of The Times, this inevitably affects "80after" theparents to their children’s education expectation, they have with their parents is notthe same concept of education and parenting.This study mainly to explore the "80after" parents about their children’seducation phase prior to the desired characteristics, and "80after" the parents to theirchildren education expectation phase prior to the change of factors, and proposedmeasures are put forward, and guide the "80after" the parents to make the rightexpectations of their child. Research based on expectancy theory, human capitaltheory, Marx’s "two kinds of production" theory and family cultural capital theory,combined with the literature method, questionnaire method, interview method, about320"80after" issued questionnaires to parents, parents of nine on the structured andunstructured interview.Survey showed that "80after" the parents for their children educationexpectation in children living style, personality development, enters a higher school,the three aspects of choosing a career. The expectations of children living style refersto what children in terms of values, behavior be expectations, mainly to the physicaland mental health, the life and others attitude development expectations; Expectationsof children’s personality development, namely children self awareness, intelligence,the development direction of pro-social behavior, will expectations; Entranceemployment expectations for their children, that is the future for their childrenlearning level, is engaged in the career expectations, including young children’slearning ability, social emotional, life, physical and mental development and childrenlong edge of the specialty, etc.This study argues that affect "80after" parents expect factors of pre-schooleducation stage their children’s education mainly include family background, socialenvironment and family education ideas.(1) level, family background, familyeconomic level, positioning,"80after" the parents themselves, and every generationof education is to "80after" parents education of their children directly or indirectlyimpact on expectations;(2) the social environment, competition in the society andinformation society on the "80after" form the education of their children parentsexpect to produce a certain guiding role;(3) the family education level, in thetraditional family education concept and modern concept of family education, underthe dual influence of "80after" the parents on their children’s education expectationphase prior to the also has its unique characteristics. Researchers believe that "after80" parents want to set up correct and reasonableeducation expectation for their children, should from the following aspects:understanding of children, reasonable expectations; The respect child, modeldemonstration; Listen to the child, cultivate interest; Take care of children, brave toexpress.
