Teaching points in rural areas, with a long history, is the important form of compulsory education in rural areas, and it plays an important role in the development of rural education in China. It is still prevalent in many remote rural areas. With the implementation of the family planning policy and the construction of urban-rural integration, primary and middle schools in rural areas in China have many problems and school condition of teaching point there is in a very awkward position. In recent years, our country pays more attention to the three rural issues and takes compulsory education in rural areas in the scope of the responsibility of government, however, to make things worse, the situation of education in rural areas does not get a greater degree of improvement, and the rural teaching point school situation does not get the attention it deserves. How are the rural teaching point conditions now? Whether teaching point in the future is certain? How to improve school conditions and to promote compulsory education equitable and balanced development of the teaching point? These are of concerns and questions to be answered.Teaching points in rural areas are facing many difficulties, especially in their school conditions. There are many reasons for his. In order to conduct a comprehensive and accurate analysis of the status of the rural teaching point school conditions, especially in the remote western regions and give some practical recommendations, after analyzing the existing research both at home and abroad,we take the Q District of Lanzhou in Gansu Province as a case, we visited the administrative department of education, a center of the school, nine teaching points, two administrative department of education staff, nine principals,33teachers,40students and we have done a survey interviews, conduct in-depth the Q area teaching point school conditions through the use of depth interviews, field visits and case analysis as well as survey analysis study. Thus provide some reasonable and feasible recommendations on how to improve the teaching point school conditions and development.
