A Study On The Evolution Of Collective Behaviors Induced And Catalyst By Internet

With the deepening of the society in transition and the rapid development of thenetwork society,the event of cluster behavior increased gradually. The network plays acrucial role in these complex events. The cluster behavior procures frequent interactionbetween the network and the reality. This association and interaction accelerate theevolutionary process of cluster behavior and cause the generation of more socialinstability. This attracted academia scholar’s attention to the study.This study selects the network and cluster behavior as entry point. The typesdivision of cluster behavior is based on established principles. This study puts forwardthree type of the cluster behavior evolution: bred-type,catalytic type,the derivative type，then determine the catalytic type as the focus of this research.Through using literature analysis method, case analysis and life cycle theory, thisresearch explains the evolutionary process form four aspect: breed, spread, conversion,decline, attenuation. This study focuses on the spread, because it is very important in theevolution of cluster behavior. On this basis, researching propose the special law: Publicopinion relevancy. This law reputes that the cluster behavior may have associated effectsbecause they have the same common characters, themes or emotions which makes thecluster public opinion becomes more complicated.After the detailed analysis of cluster behavior of catalytic type, this researchproposed a suggestion of government strategies: monitoring and prevention, hotspotinformation tracking, three-dimensional response system, media management, Internetusers’ guide which will lay a solid foundation of cluster behavior research, especially inthe context of network environment.
