Causes For The High Divorce Rate And The Northeast Region Of Social Transformation

In the current, China is experiencing the diversification which a thousand yearsdid not happen. Due to economic restructuring and social transformation happen in thesame time, globalization and network superimposed, The acceleration of urbanizationand modernization increased divorce rate is inevitable in the transition. NortheastChina where has higher levels of urbanization, strong geographical and particularcultural, lower level of economic development now showing the characteristics of thehigh divorce rate. Therefore, high rate of divorce is not an isolated social phenomenon.The analysis of its’ macroeconomic impact factors and microeconomic impact factorsis conducive to improving people’s quality of life, happiness index and social harmony.The thesis is divided into six parts, through a lot of literature and depth interviews Ihave studied the northeast region’s high divorce rate current situation, developmenttrends and important causes. I study found that the divorce rate of the northeast regionshowed two major features, the divorce rate is higher than the national average and thedivorce rate in growth rate higher than the national average. In this thesis, from theperspective of conflict theory and other details, interpret the main causes of the highdivorce rate in Northeast China. From the macroscopic angle: it’s mainly because ofsocial stratification, legal system reform, concept of marriage changes, the rise of thenetwork society. From the microcosmic influencing factors, it’s mainly because theweakening of family function, high expectations of marriage and lifestylediversification. On this basis, I put forward some suggestions for the high divorce ratein the Northeast region of the transition, mainly comprise Establish a healthy andcivilized concept of marriage, reduce irrational and malicious divorce phenomenon,strengthen the sense of family responsibility of the parties to the marriage; From theperspective of the legal system to improve the existing laws. through prohibitingdivorce by married for a while, separation system and harsh terms to restrict hastydivorce and marriage. Further improve China’s social security system and divorcerelief system, protect the more vulnerable party in the marriage and the legitimaterights of the minor children, increase efforts to support the single-parent families livingin difficult. Also pointed out that divorce provides a solution to solve the familyproblems in Northeast China of the transition. It is the endpoint of the marriagerelationship also is the beginning of a better life. Through the correct guidance to theconcept of marriage and the legal system, fully protect the divorce system’s properlyoperation, then the modern marriage based on love will having a solid foundation, wecan minimize the negative impact of divorce. Harmonious construction andHarmonious family of the northeast region will be a solid guarantee.
