Investigate The Situation Of Chinese Teaching In High School Chonburi Province——Thailand

With Trade and cultural exchanges between China and Thailand becoming more and more frequent, To promote exchanges and cooperation between the two countries, the Confucius Institute headquarters annually delivered many Chinese teachers to Thailand to support the promotion and dissemination of the career of Chinese education in Thailand. However, due to Chinese demand, local cultural and regional differences, leading to the development of Chinese language teaching not the same between the provinces in Thailand. In this paper, I conducted a sample survey of Chinese language teaching of eight secondary schools in Chonburi and obtained reliable first-hand material. The overall analysis of these eight secondary school Chinese language teaching show that: Chinese teaching in Chonburi has its own characteristics, but there are some problems to be solved, and I made some suggestions. I hope these work could get the attention of the relevant departments of Chonburi, and to the development of Chinese language teaching with my little help.In chapter1,I introduced the process of historical development and current situation of Chinese language teaching in Thailand, and methods to be taken, purpose and contents of the research.In chapter2, I specific introduced the Chinese curriculum, students, teachers, materials used, teaching methods of these eight schools, these schools are Assumption College Sriracha, Sammuk Christian Academy, Maryvit Sattahip School, Chonradsadornumrung School, Chonkanyanukoon School, Chonburi Sukkhabot School, Banbung Ootsahhgumnookraw School, Phanatpittayakarn School. Then I detailed analyzed the current situation of Chinese language teaching of these eight schools.In chapter3, I mainly discussed the problems in Chinese teaching of the eight schools, and gave my proposal to solve these problems.
