With the continuous development of informatization and science&technology in modern society, themultimedia computer has entered the field of education in our country, and gradually become importantmedia of teaching. Multimedia teaching has had an effect on the teaching media, teaching methods,teaching concepts and forms, and teaching structure et al. This article discussed how the multimediateaching under the guidance of modern educational theory and thought promote the reform of classroomteaching and focused on the courseware design, multimedia implementation, teaching analysis ofmultimedia teaching in high school physics and also put forward the proposals to the multimedia teaching.We hope that this will have inspiration for the implementation of the multi-media teaching in high schoolphysics.This paper has surveyed Zhumadian High School multimedia teaching status in-depth, aimed atunderstanding the basic information of multimedia teaching in high school physics, and provided thenecessary reference to the application of multimedia technology in the high school physics. The survey isthe construction, management and use of multimedia teaching hardware facilities, the design and use ofmultimedia courseware, the evaluation of multimedia teaching process and multimedia teaching inZhumadian High School. The research is through classroom observation, teacher and student interviewsand questionnaires. The survey results show that: the multimedia teaching is quite welcomed by theteachers and students, but there are still some problems in the teaching of high school physics multimedia:(1) the need to further improve the investment and management of multi-media teaching facilities;(2)multimedia teaching courseware resources are relatively poor and the courseware content settings is notrational enough;(3) the traditional teacher-centered teaching mode is still dominant in the actual teaching,lack of effective interaction and communication between teachers and students;(4) the need to furtherimprove the multimedia teaching evaluation system.
