The secondary vocational education is an important part of vocational and technicaleducation, it includes ordinary technical secondary schools, technical schools, vocational highschool education and short-term training, etc. It aimed to offer the junior, mid-level andskilled workers to society, and acting a very important role in the whole education system.Graduates of secondary vocational education colleges are social groups who accept all kindsof vocational training in school and have a certain professional quality and skills, being a veryimportant resource for national development. At present, China’s economy and society are inthe period of rapid transformation, social economy high speed development, industrialstructure adjustment, gradually improved vocational qualification system, and continuousshortened labor-changing cycle and the serious situations raise new claims to the secondaryvocational education of training target and teaching modes. And the secondary vocationalgraduates employment problem has also been gradually highlighted.Under the less optimistic condition of secondary vocational education college graduatesemployment currently, this article take the investigation method and literature methodcombined with the research methods. Author collected questionnaire from vocational schoolsand employing units in view of the graduates’ employment intention and mentality ofemployment and employment guidance curriculum development content, and modified withthe practical situation of Henan province accounting school. The200questionnaire surveywas distributed in Henan accounting schools,187effective questionnaires were taken back.Furthermore, author interviewed the teacher in charge, the political teaching and researchdepartment, and the students’ parents, visited10employing units using ‘the accounting schoolgraduates tracking unit for HeNan province questionnaire’ to investigate. Refer to relatedwork at the same time, reading, analysis of the accounting school of Henan province ten yearsof majors-setting, student enrollment condition and graduates employment rate, etc, authortries to find the problems existing in the secondary vocational education colleges anduniversities graduate employment, and explore the countermeasures to solve the problem ofsecondary vocational graduates employment, analyzes the secondary vocational schoolgraduates employment situation, and discuss the influence factors of secondary vocationalschool graduates employment in order to solve the problems of the secondary vocationalschool graduates employment with new ideas and new ways. According to the survey, the author found that the phenomenon of "hard the employingunits recruiting people, hard the graduates finding work” exists generally. The employingunits’ needs have deviation with the training objectives of secondary vocational schools, alsothe secondary vocational schools graduates have their own shortage on professional,technical, cultural quality and employment concept, etc. To promote the secondary vocationalschool graduates employment, schools can strengthen the education of students’ professionalskills, carry out moral education, pay more attention to the psychological education, andperfect the graduate employment guidance service work, etc. Government can macro controlthis situation by increasing investment, deepening reform, adjusting industry layout,developing county economy, improving the employment market system and perfecting allkinds of certificates, etc. The family also should play the role of education and supervision.The schools, government and family should be combined and promoted with each other, onlyso can better promote the secondary vocational school graduates start their careers stably andactively.
