The Study On The Improvement Of The Construction On The Career Guidance Curriculmn System In Higher Vocational Institutes

As higher education has been gradually heading for a popularized stage, with the continuous growth of doctoral students, postgraduates and undergraduates, the disadvantage of higher vocational graduates’ employment is becoming more and more serious. This has something to do with the whole social employment situation, and also relates to higher vocational colleges’ career guidance work. Career guidance not only solves the problem of one-time employment, but also let the university graduates aware, understand and plan their own career, and take some actions actively, and then lay the foundation for future success.The achievement of Higher vocational institutions’ career guidance target needs effective implementation of curriculum system construction. This essay analyzes the necessity of opening career guidance curriculum in higher vocational colleges, which bases on the basic concept of career guidance by mirroring the experience of developed countries’ career guidance curriculum system; and it also chooses some students and teachers who are in charge of career guidance courses from the colleges and universities in Fujian province as the research objects, and then carries out the research on the present situation of the opening course. According to the actual situation, the essay researches on the subjective and objective reasons of the recent problems lying in occupation guidance curriculum in higher vocational colleges, and proposes the countermeasures and suggestions to improve the system of occupation guidance curriculum in higher vocational colleges. It wishes that some new ideas and initiatives can be found to complete the system of occupation guidance curriculum in Higher Vocational Colleges, which could provide some beneficial reference for the higher vocational colleges to cultivate students’ occupation consciousness, improve occupation accomplishment and promote students employment.
