Expanding type course is in2000, Shanghai second curriculum reform putforward a new type of school-based curriculum, its type and foundation courses,research courses common to build a new curriculum structure. At present, thedevelopment of the new curriculum experiment model has been in some developedregions such as Shanghai. About expanding type course of middle school theoryresearch and practice exploration, though for basic education in China expandingtype course laid a good foundation for the development and construction.Taekwondo sports, as a new school it is multi-dimensional, multi-level educationfunction, give full play to its role in the school quality education, to deepen theeducation reform, promote the all-round development of school sports, will be hasthe very vital significance.According to the characteristic of tae kwon do movement andcharacteristic of teaching of middle school physical education, combining with themiddle school students physical and mental development characteristics and laws, aswell as the status quo of Shanghai middle school physical education curriculum, theargument in the middle school physical education, increase the content oftaekwondo students interest in sport. To investigate the status quo of Shanghai partof the school courses in taekwondo as well as the existing problems, grasp the basicsituation of middle school students participate in sports activities, understand thetaekwondo to the influence degree of the junior middle school students interest insport. For the dissemination and promotion of tae kwon do project in high school toprovide some theoretical basis. This article USES the literature material method,questionnaire survey method, logical analysis, mathematical statistics on the relatedliteratures of recent years, and extract the samples180students, the followingconclusions:1to take part in the taekwondo practice students interested in physicaleducation content level significantly higher than that of ordinary students, and toparticipate in sports activities every week the frequency, time is more than normal students. Regular class students in sports activities on the intensity, frequency, timeis not very reasonable.2junior high school students awareness of the role of physical activity inmental health is not enough. Focused more on sports activities, such as on the strongbody, improve the level of sports physiology and sports technical content, and ignorethe positive impact of development of sports activities on adolescent mental healthsuch as regulating the physical and mental health, communicating with people.3now in Shanghai middle school students schoolwork burden is heavier,it largely affects the time students participate in sports activities. Students attendingthe tae kwon do practice influenced by interest in sport is far lower than the regularclass students.4taekwondo practice is beneficial to stimulate students curiosity,attention, intentions and instant fun to explore. And through practice tae kwon dothis kind of high difficulty of sports, the touch of the student to the physicaleducation on the difficulty of the content is relatively low.
