The research is based on the current situation of situational interest in china, different sports influence on students'physical situation interest for starting to test students'situation interest with video that demonstrates the teaching process of four different sports. A selected sample of seven classes students from Middle school attached to ECUST(East China University of Science and Technology)was randomized ascertained to study. They represented the 7th, 8th, and 9th grades evenly. Selected the martial arts, track and field, basketball and gymnastics on video as the experimental materials, we made sure the Chinese revised PESIS had good reliability and validity, and used to test students'situational interest. In order to discover the differences of situational interest between different sports, and find out situational interest had gender differences and grade differences in the same project, so as to offer psychology consultation for class design and teaching content which meet the needs of students.The results of the research indicate that level of situational interest in the subjects there were significant differences with the different sports items characteristic difference. Through comparing the situational interest dimensions was found that the situational interest of subjects was significant difference on three dimensions of novelty, challenging and attention. The teaching content has challenging and novelty can stimulate the individual situational interest. Gender differences in situational interest between subjects showed that the gender differences between different subjects were significant in the same project, and also in different grades. First-year junior high school gender difference between boys and girls in the martial arts to achieve significant levels (P<.05), but only in pleasure and general interest this two dimensions achieve significant level in the basketball project. The gender differences between second-year junior high school students were significant only in basketball project. The gender differences between third-year junior high school students were not significant in four sports items. But the boys got higher scores than girls in martial, basketball and gymnastics. Through comparing the situational interest dimensions was found that the correlation between pleasure and general interest was highest than others (p<.01), the correlation coefficient is 0.886. The results of the research indicate that pleasure make positive contribution to stimulate situation interest in a certain extent. Through comparing the scores of situational interest in different sports were found that the pleasure scores of basketball item were highest in three grades. This suggests that compare with other three sports basketball as a comprehensive activity is better to stimulate students'interest in teaching.Research advice, we should take into account the experience level of situational interest of students in physical education. Selection and application of materials, taking into account the differences between projects. Basketball in physical education to bring students more pleasant emotional experience relative to other sports. Physical education should be fully taken into account gender differences among students. Stimulate interest situations should be taken into account various factors.
