The middle school stage is a critical period for individual physical growth and rapid psychological development and formation,but the phenomenon of physical withdrawal is particularly serious.Insufficient physical exercise among junior high school students can lead to physical subhealth such as obesity and myopia,and even lead to many psychological diseases,which has attracted widespread attention from all sectors of society.Based on the ABC attitude model theory,this study infers the possible hypothesis about the field cognitive style,sports learning interest and exercise persistence from the relationship among cognition,emotion and behavior tendency:1.Field independent cognitive style is conducive to the formation of junior high school students’ sports learning interest.2.Whether there are differences in the influence of junior high school students’ sports learning interest on exercise persistence in different typical field cognitive style.This research mainly uses the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics.Using a stratified random sampling method,a questionnaire survey was conducted on 300 middle school students from three middle schools in the surrounding counties and districts of Liaocheng City.The descriptive analysis of junior high school students’ field cognitive style,sports learning interest and exercise persistence was carried out.The independent sample t-test was used to carry out the difference analysis,and the correlation analysis,multiple regression analysis of control variables and the construction of standardized coefficient graph among variables were selected to study the relationship between the three.The main conclusions are:1.Junior high school students have two field cognitive style: field independence and field dependence.The number of students who lean towards field independence is slightly higher,and their overall level of interest in physical education learning and exercise persistence is higher than that of middle school students who lean towards field dependence.2.Middle school students’ interest in physical education learning can positively affect their exercise persistence.At the same time,boys have a higher level of interest in sports learning than girls.3.The influence of junior high school students’ sports learning interest on exercise persistence is different in different typical fields cognitive style.The negative interest in physical education learning of field independent junior high school students can affect their persistence and interest in exercise activities;The level of sports participation of field dependent junior high school students can affect their persistence and effort level in exercise activities,and their attention to sports can affect their persistence in exercise activities.Therefore,suggestions are put forward for PE teachers to carry out differentiated teaching for junior high school students with different cognitive style,so as to realize that students can form good exercise habits after school physical education learning,and finally form lifelong physical education.The specific suggestions are as follows:1.Pay attention to students’ cognitive style and reasonably implement differentiated physical education teaching to stimulate students’ interest in learning.2.Guide students to consciously learn sports knowledge and skills,and gradually cultivate their lifelong sports awareness.3.Enhance students’ interest in sports through reasonable means to improve their exercise persistence in junior high school.
