With the advocation of "research-minded and innovative teacher",the music teacherfrom first-primary and middle schools have another role that they are not only the educatorbut also the researcher for the cause of education.The primary and middle school teachershave formed their own independent system and norms on educational research whether at thelevel of theory or practice.However, the music educational research is very week includingthe researcher team and the capacity of scientific research,and from now on,it has not formedto be a normative, systematic educational research system that also can highlight thecharacter of music,so in some degree,their enthusiasm to start music educational research isrestricted.This study is to find out the real condition of music educational research includingthe outcomes they have achieved and the difficulty they have met in the cause of study inprovince of changchun by the way of investigating current research situation among thefirst-line primary and middle music teachers,and the most important aim is to seek a concretestrategy to promote the development of educational research and provide a reference for thefuture development.
