As a new learning method, inquiry learning received widespread attention inscience education. As the opposite of the ‘give-and-accept teaching mode’, learningmethod is the results of teaching innovation and development with the characters ofthat centering on problem, aiming at construct, emphasizing practice and independentparticipation and attaching importance to cooperation and communication. In addition,the inquiry learning method can meet the composition writing requirements ofindividuality, innovation, freedom and open expression and so on. However, thedifficulty of composition writing in junior secondary education is obvious to all.Although the teaching staff do their best to make breakthroughs and continuousinnovation, the difficult situation that the composition writing is difficult to be taughthas not been changed. The reason is that these is almost no enough attention toestablish the confidence of composition writing for students, and also ignore theconcrete practice of composition and the writing psychology. Thus, we must startfrom theses aspects suit the remedy to the case to design a new teaching method to fitwith the need of composition writing. The inquiry learning method will overcome theabove shortcoming well and promote the effectiveness of the junior high schoolcomposition teaching.Full-text was divided into five major parts:The first part was the introduction. This part introduced the need of the era, theteaching goal of the composition, the requirements of compulsory education Chinesecurriculum standard, the difficulties in current composition teaching, and the necessityand urgency of innovation in junior middle school thesis teaching, which shows theapplication and adaptability of the inquiry learning method in junior high schoolcomposition teaching.The second part was to explore the concept of teaching. This part introduced theconnotation and characteristics of inquiry method, and the value of education in ourcountry, and on the basis of this, the internal relation of the method and thecomposition teaching was investigated. This part explore the method itself can beused in junior middle school thesis teaching.The third part was the discussion. This part introduced and analysized the presentsituation of junior high school composition, and showed that the composition teachinghas a lot of problems. On the basis of this, a solution to these problems wasintroduced, which proved that junior high school composition teaching need theinquiry learning method.The fourth part was to explore the application of inquiry learning in junior highschool composition teaching. First, free composition of students was introduced in the process of happy communication of student and teacher. Second, on the basis ofextensive reading model essay, let the students sum up the style of writing framestructure largely. Third, according to the framework group composition, in the processof writing practice, found and analyzed the problem in writing, and ultimately solvedthese problems. Fourth, the group writing passage was merged into single one, whichestablished the confidence of composition, and boosted the enthusiasm of thecomposition. Final, after reinforcement and sublimation to explore knowledge in themodel essays in the concrete, it needed independent composition to the students.It is important to explore practice effect of the method in junior high schoolcomposition. The practice results showed that inquiry learning method used in juniormiddle school thesis teaching is practicable and effective, and can overcome thedifficulty in the current state in the junior high school composition to a certain extent.The fifth part was conclusion. This part showed that the inquiry learning methodused in junior middle school thesis teaching is inevitable, possible, and effective. Thispart also pointed out the shortage of this method, and hope teachers and experts pointout the deficiency of this paper.
