The modern society is a society that pursuing changes and progress constantly. Curriculum reform hasbecome the world’s widespread and ongoing phenomenon. In the face of the fast developing of curriculumreform, further in-depth study on curriculum reform becomes necessary. We all know that any reform mustrely on the strong system support. It is very difficult to reveal the deep reform theory and to ensure theeffectiveness of the reform without the study and analysis on the system. Along with the deepening forwardof China’s new round of curriculum reform in the practice field,"the deepest reform is system" has becomethe consensus. Only implementing on the system design and policy level, nailing down the objective andways, and clearing the stages, it will be possible to implement the curriculum reform truly and effectively.Moreover, as an organic part of the curriculum system reform theory, research on the curriculum systemmakes the curriculum reform from experience to science, also it can upgrade the curriculum revolution inrational, and improve the theoretical frame of curriculum reform.Curriculum reform system means that to enhance the quality of curriculum reform, optimize thecurriculum resource allocation, building up a series of relatively stable system that can regulate andguarantee on the curriculum reform by the state, schools and society. The first part of this master’s thesis isthe definition of the concept of curriculum reform. It has carried on the analysis from the power structure,logic structure, reasonable structure and effectiveness structure of the curriculum reform system. Besides,orientation, objectivity, technicality, stability and mandatory are considered as the five characteristics ofcurriculum reform system. According to different standards, the curriculum reform system is divided intothe explicit and implicit reform system; national, regional, the school curriculum reform; experimental andalternative reform system. It points out the curriculum reform system has three major functions, whichinclude security, constraints, and development. The second part discusses the curriculum reform system canimprove quality of curriculum reform, optimize curriculum resource allocation, enhance rationality ofcurriculum reform and promote the development of participants. The third part introduces the elements ofcurriculum reform: condition, subject, procedure and evaluation. The fourth part analyzes the principles ofcurriculum reform system: aim principle, forward-looking principle, integrity principle and the principle ofsustainability. The subject system construction of curriculum reform is composed of administrative, civil, interest groups and the mass media. The construction paths of curriculum reform system divide intotop-down, bottom-up and eclectic. The programs of curriculum reform system divide into the new systemconstruction process and improvement of the existing system. The last part discusses the connotation,function implementation and the process of curriculum reform system.
