There were351academies in Fujian province in Qing Dynasty,Fu-zhou Aofeng Academy was the leader in Fujian Academies. Inscribed with the lecture, the Academy collected a lot of books,collections a-mounted to23,625volumes.Because of the rea-ders became more and more, collections management must be strengthened to make the full use. Thus, the Academy developed a collection management charter, set collection managers, standardized the more stringent system of bor-rowing. Obviously, Fuzhou Aofong Academy with the features of rich-stocked and orderlymanagement,became the model of Fujian Academy collecetions in Qing DynastyBased on the rules of the library and principles of the book-colle ction, school-running characteristics and architectural structure of Aofe--ng library, study had been carried out on book-collection career of AoFeng library from the constraction of library building, and the sou-rce, organization, management and printing activities of books. Deep analyses had been done on the book-collection, classification and desc-ription,book-collection’s constitution and borrowing system of AoFeng library. In addition, the collected materials had been sorted out and analyzed,ranging from the content and achievements of engraved books to the preservation of cut blocks for printing. It attempted to invest-igate Qing Dynasty’s library-book-collection from the aspect of book-management of the AoFeng library. This article aims at making more comprehensive and deep research on the book-collection career of Ao-Feng library, learning about the positive impact on precious cultural artifacts,cultivating excellent talents as well as promoting the develop-ment of regional culture.
