Examination and evaluation is a very important part in the educational activities. The study of propositions helps examination and evaluation become more scientific and standardized; it also helps guiding the healthy development of the teaching activities; it helps the teachers gain more the professional experience. Besides, the study of propositions is good for the objective evaluation function of examination; it is good for the scientific testing of the students’ academic level; it makes the reform of the evaluation more beneficial for the integrated development of the students.This paper describes the strategy of preparing test questions based on the study of the propositions of the high school entrance examination in biology which use the new curriculum. The literature search, data analysis and teacher interview were used in this article as well as the personal experience. On one hand, the current status of the new curriculum reform at home and abroad, the theory of the educational measurement and the trend of the proposition in the high school entrance examination were demonstrated in the context of the application of the new curriculum. On the other hand, the strategy of preparing the test questions of the high school entrance exam in biology was discussed, including the description on the proposition procedure of different question styles, such as multiple choices, filling in the blanks, identifying the images and reasoning. The recent exploration of the proposition in the following aspects was reviewed, including comprehensive learning, target ability test, theory with practice, focus on experimental practice, enhancement in the cogitation quality of questions and promotion of the students" scientific accomplishment. Besides, some ideas in the continuous improvement of the proposition were also brought up. |
