Korea Sejong Research School

As the21st century opened, it is that the "soft power" of a country has been the symbol of international competitiveness. The first "King Sejong Institute" of Korea, the similar organization of the Confucius Institute of the China, was established in2007, since all of the world have been joining the craze for the "Korean Wave".It is rare to study about "King Sejong Institute", because its history of this new formation is short and apparently that institute didn’t reached a stable settlement yet, Especially we can say there is almost no research in the China.Generally this report show that its formal background, whole extensive development, present state, future plans and problems. In fact, this thesis is a little imperfect because finding any research papers about King Sejong Institute is so hard not only in China but also in Korea, furthermore there are constant change in adopting policy process about this institute. Nonetheless the significance is the first report for King Sejong Institute as a whole and can be a help as the materials for others study.This report was intended for helping persistently growing and expansion of the Confucius Institute&King Sejong Institute, for the last time I hope these aims will come true.
