Based on the spread of life-long learning and the requirements for compoundtalents, more and more students desire to enter universities after graduation fromVocational Education Program, While a lot of university graduates need to “go back”to Vocational education institutions to improve their professional skills. In thissituation, Australia attaches great importance to the communication and cooperationbetween Vocational Education and Training and Higher education. The most effectivepart is credit transfer and articulation under the regulation of AQF.In view of above points, this study starts from the research of Credit transfer andArticulation’s generation under Australian Qualification Framework (simplified asAQF). The research is carrying out from several aspects, such as the theoretical basisof Credit transfer and Articulation, the realistic of its development etc. Thoughin-depth analyses, the author in order to get some useful enlightenments for thedevelopment of Higher Vocational Education and Higher Education in China.This article is divided into six chapters:Chapter1: Introduction, to introduce the background of this study, majorliterature review of the research of Credit transfer and Articulation in domestic andoverseas, and the research pathway.Chapter2: the theoretical basis of Credit transfer and Articulation, main theoriesare Humanism education thought, and lifelong learning theory.Chapter3: the realistic of Credit transfer and Articulation, this part choose thehistorical background of Australian Credit transfer and Articulation as a starting point,to carry out the realistic analysis from several aspects, such as Recognition of PriorLearning, driving forces of economy and society, and the guarding of Australian AQF.Chapter4: the development and implementation of Credit transfer andArticulation under AQF, to comb the developing sequences and expound the generalprocess of Credit transfer and Articulation.Chapter5: Three-dimensional focusing pathway of innovation, this part analyzesthe three-dimension Credit transfer and Articulation pathway, mainly discuses from the agreements’ negotiation, credit transfer and articulation models and the role ofeducational institutions in the credit transfer and articulation process.Chapter6: the enlightenment to our country from the research of Credittransfer and Articulation, based on the analysis of the development need of Credittransfer and Articulation in our country, to explore useful experiences fromAustralian Credit transfer and Articulation.
