A Research On Three-Dimensional Articulation Of Industry, Higher Vocational Education And University In Australia

Australia has always focused on exploring the articulation strategies between vocational education and training、higher education. According to the differences of participants, the main articulation mechanism can be divided into one-dimensional articulation, two-dimensional articulation and three-dimensional articulation. Australia conducted the integrated articulation and credit transfer project in2009to make industry back into articulation strategy and formed the three-dimensional articulation mechanism. This mechanism is based on two-dimensional articulation mechanism and adapts to the changing needs of higher education and industry. In order to understand the operation of three-dimensional articulation mechanism and to get some useful enlightenment for the development of articulation strategy between higher vocational education and higher education in China, the research is carrying out from the context of three-dimensional articulation mechanism, the main content of three-dimensional articulation mechanism and the enlightenment.The article is divided into six chapters:Chapterl:Introduction, to introduce the significance of this research, major literature review of the research in domestic and overseas, the research pathway and methods.Chapter2:The background of Australian three-dimensional articulation mechanism. This part analysis the reasons of cooperation among industry, vocational education and training, higher education. Such as Industry demands change, the disadvantages of before articulation mechanism. And the government policies will be sorted.Chapter3:The main content of Australian three-dimensional articulation mechanism which is the important part of this article. Firstly, the research will analysis how the three-dimensional articulation mechanism came out from one-dimensional articulation, two-dimensional articulation mechanism. Secondly, the research will provide the details of articulation mechanism which is divided into four steps.Chapter4:elaborates the implementation of articulation mechanism, such as sign the memorandum of understanding, map the content, provide the support program:sign the Memoranda of Understanding, content mapping, choose the correct articulation model, provide information and support for student. And the articulation models can be divided into:End-on models, Embedded models and Concurrent Study Models.Chapter5:summaries the characters of Australian three-dimensional articulation mechanism. The characters can be included by total research on three-dimensional articulation mechanism.
