With the new curriculum reform is ongoing, the new concept of "independent learning","inquiry learning" based teaching, has become the consensus. Feature columns written by the People’s Education Press, which named by "High School Curriculum Standards Of Experimental Teaching Book Geographic" set "Research", it is a concrete manifestation of the new ideas. The column at the end of each chapter, a total of16research topics in the compulsory three sections, five research projects in which I studied compulsory. This column is based on the "problem" as the carrier, so that the students after the end of this chapter core knowledge content, apply the acquired knowledge to real life and to enable students to strengthen the process of inquiry and problem-solving knowledge, develop knowledge of migration, while the correct values. But in the process I practiced rarely carried out the "Research" in the compulsory teaching courses. In the teaching situation, I studied how implementation of the ’Description’column and the results are "compulsory teaching.In this study, literature review, draw on the basis of the research of others, but also to carry out action research, teaching practice was a "Research" column, conducted a survey. In contrast the "problem" teaching activities before and after the students, the study found:1, students "Research" learning initiative is not high;2students in geographic learning process lack of active inquiry process;3, students’interest of the "Research" have to do with the atmosphere of the classroom, course content, teaching methods, learning ability, and teacher’s guide. Finally, the author gives a "Research" the implementation of teaching suggestions, namely:1, the choice of the theme of "problem" to be fun and life;2, the choice of teaching methods to student-centered;3, teaching content in conjunction with migration and use of the body of knowledge;4, teaching attitude should pay attention to students’ emotions, attitudes, values and culture;5, teaching evaluation incentives.I hope the practice and investigation of the "Research" that can be a concern and attention of the "Research" to geography teachers, and then be implemented in the actual teaching process, and provide guidance for geography teaching practice.
