Good English literacy is the essential quality of future citizens. English learning should start from the basic education. The main task placed before us is changing the traditional teaching mode to improve the classroom teaching efficiency and information literacy of teachers and students. Through the survey and interviews to teachers and students in Jining No.2middle school lasting approximately one year, the article validates that application of the multimedia in English teaching has a practical guiding significance. Multimedia aided English teaching increases classroom capacity, arouses students’ learning interest and enthusiasm, and guides the students to active learning. It has very important significance for their life-long learning and development.The thesis firstly explains the research reason and the related literature review. Secondly it analyzes and discusses the research results of multimedia aided English teaching in junior high school. At last it comes to a conclusion and puts forward the effective methods of implementation to achieve the best teaching effect.The specific implementation of study is analysis of results of questionnaires and interviews to know the change of teaching effect after using multimedia technology in English teaching. It includes:1. the students’interest in media teaching;2. the students’interest in English learning;3.the effect of classroom teaching.There are two methods:1. Survey Research Method:through investigation and analysis of the present situation of multimedia aided English teaching in Jining No.2middle school, the thesis provides the necessary theoretical basis;2. Method of Literature:it uses advanced teaching technology and network information to conduct a conclusion of application of multimedia in English teaching in junior middle school through analysis and summary of the successful experience of the past and the reference of English teaching achievements in the field of teaching.The conclusion of research is:the use of multimedia technology can create situations to improve students’learning interest and enthusiasm; English teachers use multimedia technology to improve the effect of teaching.Through the massive literature comparative analysis1find that there has been lack of systematic study on multimedia aided English teaching in junior middle school. I hope that through this study it can fill the lack of relevant aspects of the study. There is certain practical significance of integration of information technology and English course.
