The world where students are and the most things students are exposed to are mainly related to graphs and spaces. A good space concept is important to the mathematical competence of the students. The purpose of Geometry for junior elementary students is to help students develop space concept gradually. Junior elementary students have had some perceptual experience of shape and graph before they enter the school. It can improve students’ interest in learning space and graphic knowledge and gradually develop students’ space concept by making use of the existing experience of the students and through lots of various kinds of observations, operations and games. Both domestic and overseas geometric education emphasizes the development of the space concept of the students. Diverse exploratory geometric operations allow students to observe, feel, guess and experience the meaning of spatial orientation and its relativity, the relation between graphs and the fantastic changes, inspire students to explore mathematics and develop students’ innovative awareness. Geometric activities also enrich students’ perceptual knowledge of spatial orientation and graphic relation and develop their space concept. During the activities of observing objects, getting directions, making models, designing patterns and lab practice, students will acquire the knowledge of spaces and graphs, form and develop good space concept. The purpose of the research is to make theoretical preparation for how to control the degree of geometric education, explore how to develop students’ space concept in geometric education and compare it with traditional education through the practice and study of some cases in geometric education. Meanwhile, it studies how to put geometric education in daily life so as to realize geometric education in real life. The research has found out the problems and difficulties in actual geometric education and provided experience for others. The research has proved that most students will obtain new understanding towards Geometry and become interested in Geometry by experiencing the process of the formation of geometric concept and practicing personally. Geometry used to be a difficult course to them, but they are not afraid of it anymore. They are confident of resolving geometric problems. According to the result of the comparison between the experimental class and the control class, there is some difference among students in terms of space concept. However, the research has also found that it is difficult to quantify space concept. In actual geometric education practice, it is a question worth in-depth study to develop students’ space concept in limited time.
