The interest is a psychological tendency to seek knowledge, to explore things and to participate in an activity. The study interest is the understanding tendency shown based on their learning desire. Interest in learning is the most realistic and most active ingredients of the learning motivation, and is one kind of the most practical internal force to promote the learning activity. Once the students get interest in learning, the thinking, memory, attention and other factors in the process of learning can be fully mobilized, and they form an optimum state.The learning interest of the students who are in Grade One in junior high school has the following characteristics. The interest is wide in some degree and it has forms a center interest. With greater differentiation and selectivity. They start with a certain depth, but their thinking is an image thinking and the direct interest is dominant. Since the students are so young, they have a strong curiosity, and they like exploration show off themselves, and the attention is not easy to last. If the teacher is just the echo of the teaching what the books say and do the pure preaching, certainly it will let the lively students feel dull and boring. This not only greatly dampened the enthusiasm of the students, and even lose the study interest of ideological and moral lesson.Application of interest in teaching the necessity of moral teaching in first grade:determined by the characteristics of the first grade students’physical and mental development; by the nature of the ideological and moral lessons in first grade, teaching content, the status of the decision; the development needs of teachers and students;development of the times are urgent requirements.The following conditions are essential if you want to use the interest teaching method in Junior Ideological and moral lesson effectively:to improve teachers’personality charm and professional knowledge; to establish a good relationship between teachers and students; to pay attention to" people-oriented", and make the students play the main role; to dig the textbook and deepen the understanding to teaching material; to arrange a proper teaching content according to the characteristics of students; to have strong ability of controlling class; to help students overcome the difficulties in study, and stable their learning interest.Russian literary scholar Tolstoy have said:" a successful teaching is not mandatory requirements, but to stimulate the interest of students." The interest teaching method is to use all favorable conditions effectively, to use various means flexibly in teaching, to stimulate students’interest in learning maximally for the purpose. In order to stimulate students’interest in learning, in accordance with the teaching content, teaching objectives and student characteristics, I did these teaching activities, such as a clever questioning, using music, opening debate, showing discuss, organizing games, make good use of multimedia teaching material, choose rich extra-curricular materials, arranging activities, combined with the hot current affairs case, designing students activities, strengthen guidance of learning method of interest and so on. I obtained the good teaching effect.The student is the host of classroom teaching and the subject to learn the knowledge. The morality lesson teachers only choose the material flexibly, use a variety of teaching methods and means in teaching, and then they can maximize stimulate students interest in learning, so that students love to learn, happy to learn, take the initiative to learn, so as to stimulate students’strong desire for knowledge, open the door of thinking, cultivate students’innovation spirit and practice ability, to improve the efficiency of learning and teaching quality.
