After entering the high school, the learning task of junior high school students was significantly increased, so their pressure in the study will be bigger. In junior high school, as a test of a new discipline, due to some students lack of ideological and scientific study habits, they can’t play to their potential in the process of learning. In addition, together with some students do not realize the importance of this discipline, resulting in a lack of enthusiasm for the majority of junior high school students in the discipline, there is no correct right attitude, so their results are often unstable and difficult to satisfactory.The main task of the junior middle school thought moral education, is to train and bring up sound and noble ideological and ethical attainments in junior high school students. For junior middle school students, they are in the key stage of world outlook, the outlook on life and values formation, urgently needs to get the correct guidance of the teacher. However, because of many reasons, moral character is divided into "deputy class", during the course, junior middle school students drowsy, listless, read other books, and so on and so forth have appeared. So, how to improve the learning interest of the junior middle school students in moral character, is not only the problem that should be considered for the discipline, also is our master of education should have a good research topic.Psychologists from the United States Vroom, in a 1964 book called "work and encourage" puts forward the Theory of expectation of Expectancy(going to), he proposed the staff’s job performance is established on the basis of certain expectations. The theory on the formula expressed as: incentive strength(M) = titer(V) x expectations(E).In this paper, from the view of arousing students’ learning motivation by Vroom expectation theory, and using the empirical research method, the correct way to in the teaching of junior middle school thought moral character theory, Vroom expectations are used to stimulate the junior middle school students interest in learning in order to develop in-depth discussion, to improve the junior middle school students in the discipline of learning enthusiasm and initiative. The author thinks that, at present the main problems in the junior middle school students in ideology and moral character study and its performance characteristics include: "mentality is undeserved, worry too much about the", "expecting too much, emotional anxiety", "haste makes waste, loss of confidence" and so on. The author on the basis of the theory of expectation, the junior middle school students in the moral character of the process of learning classification summarized as:(1), their type: expected value(E), titer type(V) is low;(2), the status quo: low efficiency value(V);(3), the lagged and the status quo: expected value(E) on the low side. Prospect theory based on the analysis of junior high school students learning thought personal character position:(1) was the main cause of the poor, students’ efforts and performance of the weak correlation degree;(2), the connection degree of performance and reward is small;(3), learning, low titer. According to above analysis, the author use Vroom expectancy theory puts forward the countermeasures of moral character in junior high school students learning motivation:(1) strengthening of correlation between individual effort and performance;(2) to deepen teaching reform, improve the students’ learning titer;(3) set up the "education", to help students build up confidence. Finally, the author use Vroom expectancy theory of moral character in junior high school students learning motivation, the empirical analysis to "do good faith" as an example, mainly reflected in:(1) full attention in the design of teaching;(2) in the teaching actively guide;(3) the teaching evaluation of appropriate feedback.Through the research, the writer in the teaching using the Vroom expectancy theory consistent with the psychological principles of junior middle school students interest in learning, can make teachers more in-depth understanding of the junior middle school students interest in learning, to better motivate junior middle school students learning motivation in moral character, which will bring to the junior middle school thought moral teaching activities have a profound significance.
