The growing numbers of women entering the work force, especially those who are marriedor parents, has heightened interest among both work and family researchers in exploring theinter-dependence of work and family roles. A specific outgrowth has been an increased interetin studying the work-family conflict among employed mothers with family responsibilities. Thisresearch uses empirical methods, explore the work-family conflict content structure in mothers,then, we had a preliminary study between work family conflict and consequence variable jobinvolvement, in addition, the intermediary effect of social support between work family conflictand job involvement has been studied. The result of our empirical study showed that:(1) work family conflict is a four-dimensional structure, specific include: behavior conflict,energy conflict, time conflict, and Interpersonal conflict.(2) work family conflict is good predictor of job involvement. There is a significantnegative correlation between work family conflict and job involvement, meaning the higher thescore(and the stronger work family conflict), the lower the job involvement.(3) There is a significant negative correlation between work family conflict and socialsupport.(4) social support played a role of some intermediaries at the impact on work familyconflict to job involvement.(5) by using anova, we find out that there are significantly different work family conflictsamong different demographic variables(age, marriage age degree, nature of units, etc).
