Career Ability Evaluation Research On Engineering College Students In Local Colleges And Universities

According to the ministry of education issued the news on the scales of graduates, in2012graduated scale is up to6.8million people. The number of graduates is very high, the college students’ employment is a difficult task. As the problem of employment is ongoing, entrepreneurship gradually spread among college students. University student’s entrepreneurship work can not only effectively solve their problem of employment, but also can give others to provide employment opportunities, which has become an important way in the college students’ employment. But as part of the college students’own quality and ability is not enough, the current entrepreneurial success rate is very low. How to judge whether the college students possess the entrepreneurship ability has become an important subject of employment education in university. In order to facilitate task smoothly, we will use the students in HeBei university of technology, HeBei university of science and technology, HeBei polytechnic university and HeBei university of engineering as the main research object, which focus on the local colleges and universities engineering college students’ career ability evaluation problem. We hope it can provide some reference to school employment education and the students being ready to venture.This study first apply literature survey and expert interview method to construct university students’career ability structure, forming ability framework. Then, base on the ability framework I measure a evaluation table, through small sample test and the scale modified I form formal table. I use final table to measure four peripheral colleges of engineering college students’career ability to understand the current engineering college students’career ability level in local colleges and universities.The main research results and conclusions include the following two aspects:(1) Compiling career ability evaluation table in accordance with measurement requirement.This table include56project,7ability dimension, and include venture firm, relationships competence, innovation creativity, practical learning capacity, the ability to grasp the opportunity, career impulsion and resources integration. This alpha reliability coefficient reaches0.933; The degree of correlation between component table and table focus on0.857--0.896, showing that the table performance is good and can promote the use.(2) Measuring the local college students’ career ability level The current local colleges and universities students’ ability level from low to high in order as:venture firm, relationships competence, innovation creativity, learning capacity, the ability to grasp the opportunity, career impulsion and resources integration. It presents the differences in three latitudes as grade, discipline and gender.(3) Providing suggestions for engineering college students in local colleges and universities.From three aspects as college students, schools and society I have a conclusion:college students should strengthen practice study and improve their comprehensive quality. Schools should establish perfect entrepreneurship education system. Society should actively mobilize all social forces, optimizing students’ career environment.
