“Hehe Thought†is the essence of Chinese culture and a widely acceptedhumanism. Due to the far-reaching influence in history, it has drawn great attentionamong contemporary scholars. There has been, in the academia, a hot debate overthe thought’s connotation, value and the role and function it played in socio-culturalhistory. Also some thought-provoking questions are raised. Whether the thought canbe a new perspective in strengthening University students’ ideological and politicaleducation is not only a new idea, but also a new subject. Studying the thought,getting to know its rational core, and putting it into play, particularly how to combineit with University students’ ideological and political education, has become animportant subject in building a harmonious system of ideological and politicaleducation. On the basis of existing materials, plus the rational reference to relevantliterature and the findings of theoretical studies, the paper approaches the applicationof “Hehe Thought†in contemporary University students’ ideological and politicaleducation. It includes three parts.Part II through a historical analysis of the traditional “Hehe Thoughtâ€, Part Iillustrates the connotation and historical influence of the thought.Part II discusses the feasibility of the combination of “Hehe Thought†withcontemporary University students’ ideological and political education. Taking themistaken ideas in students’ education work as breakthrough point, this part clarifiesthe role the thought plays in solving the problems. The new request made by modernsocial situation further verifies the feasibility of their combination.Part III makes an in-depth analysis of the strategies that how the thought canstrengthen contemporary University students’ ideological and political education.This part offers the concrete combination means of the two. |
