Ideological and political education for college students is an important part of college teaching,and its important task is to arm young students with correct ideology and help them become builders and supporters of the socialist cause.Enhancing the ideological and political education of college students requires us to start from theory classes,practical classes,daily life and campus culture.University museums are non-profit institutions attached to universities and related to teaching and training in higher education,with exhibition,education and research as their goals,collecting and preserving various precious historical artifacts and cultural specimens.The university museums that gather the spirit and culture of university campus are the living teaching materials for ideological and political education and an important resource for carrying out ideological and political education.Therefore,colleges and universities should fully recognize the ideological and political education function of museums and make use of their rich resources and characteristic advantages to help college students strengthen their ideals and beliefs,form excellent moral qualities and achieve healthy and comprehensive development after entering college museums.Starting from the university museums,this paper adopts the method of social survey and applies the theory of museology and the basic theory of ideological and political education to study the ideological and political education function of university museums in Wuhan area.On the basis of collating the current situation of domestic and foreign researches,the concept and meaning of college museums and ideological and political education are basically explained,and their unique classification,functions and advantages are proposed,which lay the theoretical foundation for the research of this thesis.Then the current situation of the application of museum resources in ideological and political education of college students in Wuhan area is understood through questionnaire survey,the daily work of college museums and the overview of students visiting museums are introduced,and the problems and reasons for the utilization of museum resources in ideological and political education of college students in Wuhan area are summarized and analyzed,and the specific reasons are discussed with the standpoint of ideological and political education.With this,we study how to make better use of college museums based on the analysis of the current situation,problems and causes described earlier in this report in terms of theoretical courses,practical courses,daily ideological and political education and campus culture construction of college ideological and political education. |
