Research On The Experiment Demonstration Bases’ Construction Of Agricultural Universities

Agriculture is the fundamental industry of national economy. Since the reform andopening, China’s agriculture has achieved great development, and especially in the newcentury, China’s grain output achieved eight years continuous growth. Agricultural scienceand technology is the key factor to promote the growth of grain output. Agriculturalexperiment demonstration bases are the new form which is built by government and scientificresearch institutions to promote agricultural science and technology’s popularity andapplications. In China, agricultural experiment demonstration bases play an important role inthe transform of traditional agriculture to contemporary agriculture and extensive agricultureto intensive agriculture.Agricultural universities are the important bases to cultivate agriculture science andtechnology talents, innovate in agricultural science and technology and expand the use ofagricultural technology. Constructing the agricultural experiment demonstration basesagricultural universities have unique advantages. In China, it is in the initial stage which isagricultural universities construct agricultural experiment demonstration bases. So there aremany problems on the operation mode and management mechanism in the agriculturalexperiment demonstration bases. Therefore, researches on the experiment demonstrationbases’ construction of agricultural universities have important realistic significance topromote agricultural development and rural economic growth and increase the farmers’income.This article contains eight chapters.The first two chapters based on the existing literature, analyzes the research background,related concepts and theories, the main research thinking, method and technical route ofagricultural experimental demonstration bases.The third analyzes the practice and exploration of China’s agricultural experiment demonstration bases. Such as the problems of construction necessity, the main type of theexperiment demonstration bases and its construction experience and problems.The chapter four uses the SWOT analysis to analyze the strengths, weaknesses,opportunities and threats in agricultural universities constructing experiment demonstrationbases. And the conclusion is the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, the opportunitiesoutweigh the threat.Chapter five and six analyzes the American agriculture universities’ and Northwest A&F University’s experiment demonstration bases construction respectively.The chapter seven puts forward the ideas and countermeasures of agriculturaluniversities constructing experiment demonstration base in the new era, such as the mainideas, main tasks, management mode, operation mechanism and security measures.Finally, chapter eight is the summary of the article.
