It is an innovation activity to apply the agriculture-learning base in middle school education since the recent 5 years. To realize diathesis training and the practical exercising needs a carrier for students to discover nature and get touch with society. Practical learning base is a bridge for this, but up to now there is no mature experience and systemic theory research in this field. Based on the comprehensive practice education theory and the practical activity in the agriculture-learning base of Shahekou district Dalian city, this paper focuses on the social function and economical function of the base, and systemically develops the educational function of the base in the fields of scene teaching, aesthetic teaching, environment teaching and the study teaching, and in certain extent provides the theory support and the guidelines for the agriculture-learning base practice. Hopefully the paper is helpful for the agriculture-learning base of middle school continuable development.
