The Study Of Anomie Phenomenon In The Network Public Events

The frequently occurrence of network public events and the highlighted anomie phenomenon under the Internet trends, add even more uncertainty and tension for the current development of Internet and even the social reality in China. Based on the state of norms and anomie in cyberspace, this essay reviewed and inspected the anomie characterization in Guo Meimei event, and summarized four types of network anomie:moral anomie, role of anomie, group anomie and diffuse anomie.The defect of network social norms is the background factor of the arisen of anomie behavior and anomie phenomenon in network public events. The norms are the foundation of group living and the roots of order. But under the background of great development and prosperity in our country, network social norms don’t get enough attention and construction. We see the defect of core value in Network society, and network social norms are quite inadequate.This study suggests that, in the background and context of social transformation, polarization, and networking, the extreme individualized moral claims of Guo Meimei such as flaunting riches on weibo and network speculating, is a kind of aggress and trespass towards society disgraceful consideration, which harms the social solidarity and good maintenance, being a kind of moral anomie; The Red Cross hurts people’s social expectations due to its behavior of lag, rigidity and bureaucracy, making itself staying in a state of "role of anomie"; And the continuous and single unconventional means of netizens such as rumors and "language violence", destroy the proper procedures and specification, further more, the group polarization and fierce anomie of group action also aggravate the anomie effect in the network. In the event, lots of media walk toward the side of excessive reports and scandal hype, tend to abuse amusement and lose their bottom line, constituting the diffuse anomie.
