Using Information Technology To Promote The Construction Of Modern Research In Shandong Maritime Administration

Shandong Maritime Safety Administration Bureau is the direct administrative law agency of Ministry of Transport. According to the relevant National Laws and International Conventions, the Bureau is responsible for Shandong inland rivers, coastal and seas to ensure the water traffic safety, the marine environment protection, to protect crew members’ interest, safeguard the country’s maritime sovereignty and act as Maritime Search and Rescue Center. During the "Eleventh Five-Year" period, Maritime Information Technology Development plays a positive role in leading and driving the maritime management philosophy, management tools, technology and equipment updates. But in general, it is still slow compares to the increasing transportation demands of the economy and people. The Transportation Information Technology development is slightly falling behind. The new historical period of time, the author thinks that information is not only the important support and promoting factors of maritime management modernization, but also an important part of maritime management modernization.
