When Good Half Meter Humble Poor: Gifted Jiangsu Yinren Research

The title of this paper, whose object is the seal carvers of Jiangsu in seventeenth Century,is "the study of seal carvers of Jiangsu in late Ming and early Qing ". This paper, by consulting all kinds of relevant literature,studies the overall situation of seal carvers of Jiangsu in the late Ming and early Qing.According to relevant statistical data, this paper proceed to the next step to analyze the distribution and the identity constitute of the seal carvers studied.In the late Ming and early Qing, seal carvers of Jiangsu have cluster phenomenon,this paper makes a research on this phenomenon, including carving style and deeds on carving of seal carvers.Taking the family and lineage of seal carvers in Suzhou area as an example, this paper discusses the spread of seal theories from the perspective of the family and marriage relationship.This paper studies the survival problems and living state of seal carvers in late Ming and early Qing Dynasty, drawing a conclusion that the social status of is seal carvers inconsistent.
