"Jiao Jian Shen Gather" Music Aesthetics

Shenyue(441-513),whose style name Xiuwen,is from Wukang Wuxing (nowWukang County,Zhejiang Province). He is a famous leader in the literaryworld during Northern and Southern Dynasties.He lives through threedynasties which are Song,Qi and Liang.He has got great achievements inliterature,history and musicology.Now the research on Shenyue is veryrich but the research on his musical ideology and aesthetics is not sorich and the analysis on them is also insufficient, especially theresearch on Shenyue’s musical aesthetics is rare.Based on “Research onShenyue’s Collected Works”,the thesis studies the subjectcomprehensively and systematically against the ideological historybackground and analyzes the aesthetic standard of the Wei Jin Southernand Northern Dynasties. Combined withConfucianism,metaphysics,Buddhism and aesthetics,etc.the thesisalso studies Shenyue’s musical aesthetic sense from his his poetry andrhyme prose and other essays, analyzes his aesthetic ideology andsummarizes the historical development of the folk dance and song from HanDynasty to Southern Dynasty.
