The Research Of Shenyue’s "SuShuo"

"SuShuo" is a novel of QiLiang dynasty. It has only50entries ramained now. Most of the stories of "SuShuo" are about daily choress of the times, which has been paid no attention by researchers. There are only a few words to express the meanings of one or two entries when it is occasionally given some brief introductions by some books about novel history. Not to mention a deeper analysis of historical background.Based on this result, this paper is to explore its historical and literary value, respectively from its editon, contents, artistic characteristics and so on. The foreword of the paper firstly introduces the research status, the significance of the topic, and the method of the research. Secondly, the main text briefly intruduces the author, the edition and the compilation of "SuShuo", and compiled out a new edition. Besed on the final edition, thoroughly analyses the subject matter contents and art characteristic. After that, the paper compares "SuShuo" with "ShiShuoXinYu" to express the diffrence of "SuShuo", which also helpes to find out the reflection of the social political and historical backgrounds of "SuShuo". At last, in the epilogue is about the influences of this book on later literature in the conclusion.The main body of the paper is divided into three chapters:The first chapter:the research of the author, edition and compilation of "SuShuo". Firstly, there’s a textual research on the book to make sure of the author who is ShenYue. Secondly, based on the two editions of "SuShuo", Ma Guohan’s "YuHanShanFangJiYiShu" and Lu Xun’s "GuXiaoShuoGouChen", choose good editions of Chinese Genus-books as the chief sources, finally compile out a new edition of "SuShuo" contains50entries, which has adjusted the differences and the errors of Ma Guohan’s and Lu Xun’s editons.The second chapter:the content and artistic features of "SuShuo". Based on the new edition of "SuShuo" and a detailed understanding of the50entries, this chapter mainly explores the content and artistic features of "SuShuo". In accordance with its subject matter, the50entries of "SuShuo" are divided into three categories as "a depiction of daily life","realistic spiritual orientation" and "anecdotes and customs" Combined with the changes of literary style from Wei to QiLiang dynasty, as well as Shen Yue’s literature concept and so on, the article has also analyses the reasons of this change that has reflected in "SuShuo". Finally, explores its art features mainly about "Su".The third chapter:the of "SuShuo" to ShiShuoXinYu". This part is to prove the historical value of "SuShuo", mainly by all the benifit of "SuShuo" to "ShiShuoXinYu"."SuShuo" is later than "ShiShuoXinYu", such a undertake relation makes multiple entries of the two books overlapping on characters and stories. Based on this result, many of the "SuShuo" entries have benifitted "ShiShuoXinYu", mainly manifestes as complement, cause and effect, and confirmation."SuShuo" is named as "Su", but it does not follow the conventional pattern. In the times people took XuanTan and PinJian as the prevailling custom,"SuShuo" on the contrary, paid more attention to the ordinary life of celebrities, which presents us a real world that is not been sugarcoated of these people. From this point of view, secondly, the in some level reflects the new change of literature from Ji to Liang, and last "SuShuo" has benefitted for "ShiShuoXinYu" also proved its historical value."SuShuo" has an indelible contribution. Therefore, the value of "SuShuo" is indelible.
