Li Dou was born inYizheng of Jiangsu.He spent nearly thirty years to write the book Collection of Yangzhou Painted Boat.The book recorded the social living conditions of Yangzhou of the Qing Dynasty in the18th century comprehensively.It can be described as an" encyclopedia " of the Qing Dynasty.The introduction is about the present condition of the researeh of Collection of Yangzhou Painted Boat.It analyses their different emphasis points briefly.List the monograph and thesiss about the literariness of Collection of Yangzhou Painted Boat, disscuss them by classification. Summarize its characteristic:Strong reality,Unity of form and spirit and The pursuit of beauty and fantasy.The classical Chinese stories have two affects:Reveal the local conditions and customs of the middle period of Qing dynasty, Promote the spread and creation of classical Chinese stories. Third chapters,take the prose as the object of the research,discuss its content and artistic feature.The content includes three parts:Garden depicting, Local amorous feeling and Character activity.Combined with concrete proses,for example, the description of Wall flow effect, Rolling stone cave and The nine Peak Garden,the depiction of Weiyang exhibition of lanterns, Dragon-boat,the representation of Meeting of poetry and article, The opera performance and so on.
