Research On The Words "tiandi" In Contract Documents Since The Song And Yuan Dynasties

In the period of feudal society,field played a vital role in social and economic life as the main material means of production.Folk field contract documents take land as the object of transaction,which truly record the local land system,land type and land use distribution at that time.It has the characteristics of times,regions and authenticity.At present,the study of contract documents has been paid more and more attention in linguistics in addition to law,economics,history,agriculture and other aspects.Comparing with grammar and writing,contract documents have the greatest vocabulary value and have achieved good research results.On the whole,however,the focus of the study is mainly on the textual research and interpretation of difficult words,the systematic study of a certain semantic type of vocabulary is still insufficient.In order to provide a reference for the study of the language of modern handwritten documents and enrich the study of the history of modern Chinese vocabulary.This paper takes the land contract documents in the folk contract documents as the research material,choosing the terms of "field" as the object of transaction in documents as the object of study,using methods of immolated slaves and lexicology,combining the sentence structure of contract documents,classifying and explaining those words.This thesis is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is introduction.This part firstly introduced the publishing and sorting situation of the folk contract documents,as well as the documentary range of research.Then the part summarized the research status of vocabulary in contract documents.Afterwards this chapter explained research meaning,methods and problems.The second chapter presented a brief summary of the regional distribution of terms of "Field" in contract documents at first.Then it classified then into seven categories according to their natural function and semantic characteristics They are sacrifice,ascription,crop cultivation,harvest time,funeral,taxation,topography and landform Finally,the chapter explained meanings of every tape.The third chapter interpreted difficult tenns of "field" in contract documents.These terms are both common words and dialect.This thesis used research methods of immolated slaves,and interpreted these words in order to help for the understanding and reading of land contract documents.It also had reference value for the vocabulary study of modem Chinese and the compilation of dictionaries.The last chapter is the conclusion.In this part,the author summarized the basic viewpoints briefly,and generalized the these researches in the mass.
