Chinese listening course is important to Teaching Chinese as a Second Language,this paper has analyzed the current status of intermediate course of Chinese listening,rooted in the questionnaires from foreign students of intermediate level of Xi’anInternational Studies University, and expects to make a little attempt of Chineselistening teaching and to make it more attractive.There are many different models of teaching, the author prefers Task-basedLanguage teaching(TBLB) which combined language learning with significantactivities. Through learning and reading, this paper introduced some another modelsabout Chinese listening, and then the paper discusses the original theories, proceduresand its task design principle.On the basis of previous, the author provides a detailed design about immediateChinese listening based on TBLB, points out the potential problems. We hope we cantake the advantages of TBLB for our Chinese listening teaching and improve thelearners abilities of Chinese communication.
