In Chinese language, there are two kinds of structure which can express the possibility of implementation and action. The first kind is related to the modal verb which means possibility, such as the verbs or verbal phrases with"能”、“可以”、“会”,which can be marked as“能/不能+verbal phrases",“可以/不可以+verbal phrases",“会/不会+verbal phrases",the other kind is related to the verbs which means may-complement, can be marked as " verb+complement ".This article will tell the differences between the“能/不能+verbal phrases"and" verbal words+may-complement phrases" on semantic and usage of comparison.The purpose of this paper is to interpret events between the two types of structure in semantic and usage, for teachers of Chinese as a foreign language in the interpretation of this kind of grammar points, can clearly tell the students, in this circumstance, which one is better, and which one is can not be replaced.This article will also provide some help for international students to reduce some mistakes and troubles.In this paper, the research methods include the literature method, questionnaire investigation and contrastion analysis method.Research conclusion of this article is the semantic and usage analysis of "can/can’t VC+" and "V+complement" including five small class structure, and aimed at offering some proposal to learn well.
