Along with the development and promotion of Chinese abroad, Chinese is more and more being paid attention to. But it is difficult to promote the Chinese culture in Chinese-teaching. In this paper we take the Chinese Department of Ho Chi Minh Normal University as an example, investigate and analyze the study of Chinese culture in universities of the southern part of Vietnam. By interviewing and counting the questionnaires, we collect attitudes and views towards Chinese culture, then analysis the survey results, we give some advice about Chinese culture teaching in order to improve the efficiency and quality of Chinese culture teaching.The dissertation is divided into four parts. The first chapter introduces the study background, meaning and domestic and foreign literature summary, give the study content and method. Chapter two describes how to design the questionnaire, and analyze the present situation of culture teaching in the Chinese Department of Ho Chi Minh Normal University. Chapter three analyzes the needs of Chinese culture teaching n the Chinese Department of Ho Chi Minh Normal University. By counting and analyzing the questionnaires, we know what culture that students are interested in and teaching methods, which are effective. Chapter four analyzes the difficulties in culture teaching and proposes some suggestions.
