As an excellent master during Baroque period, Johann Sebastian Bachis always regarded as one of the greatest composers of all time. Hiscompositions make use of rich German musical styles and skilledcounterpoints. His music integrates the essence of Baroque musical style. Hisreputation and the profound influence on the western world attract the attentionof the society to study his composition skills, influence, life career, family lifeand personal belief.Based upon the research of J.S. Bach’s Flute Sonata in e Minor, BWV1034, this paper analyzed the composition of the work to establish thecorrelation between the sonata and cantata and systematically integrate thefactors of rhythm and style to show a brand-new feeling to the audience. Itcompared the performance styles of four contemporary flute masters anddiscussed how do performers use the special skills to produce the differentsound effects. It provided the reference for the flue performance to widen thethought, properly grasp the musical style and more correctly express thefeelings.
